Thread: Car pulls left when Braking, pulls right when accelerate...

    1. 01-31-2009 12:24 PM #1
My car pulls to the left when I press the brake hard, and it pulls to the right when i accelerate hard. It goes straight when it's cruising.

Went to do an alignment, they said everything looks fine...

My question is, what else can go wrong? Bent control arm? Bent chassis?

My car is a 1991 Cabby that I drive only in the summer.

Thanks for your help in advance!

a really bad wheel bearing will act that way. or some really bad control arm bushings or tie rods.

This is almost always a control arm bushing worn out. I'll even guess it's the one on the right side.

usually the rear verticle bolt hole control arm bushing. i didnt see youre car, but if the r32/tt ones (bushings) fit use those.
