Looks like a Jeep with that wheel gap!

not a huge fan of the black on black, I think silver looks a lot cleaner IMO
      But to everyman his own

And get those drums painted !

Looks good, lowering it and painting the drums will only add to it.

Can't really tell, which is why IMO black on black is not the way to go, although i did like bluvapor88's. Also, the wheel gap hurts my eyes...suspension first, then wheels. but props for tryin . /my opinion

Thanks ppl for all the constructive feedback.. Will definitely look into the suspension next. Any ideas if i should use coilovers or plain ol springs?

Definitely coilovers. I've had great success with my ST coilovers. If ST's are too expensive, you should look into the Solo Werks. They look pretty nice as well. But I highly suggest you don't go with springs. Coilovers will make your car look 10x better. By the way, car looks nice so far! Just get it dropped quick

Untitled Here's my car dropped on ST coilovers. I might take out the other half of my perch in the rear to make the rear a little more even with the front.

Thanks actually I bought that stuff for my jettas mirrors. I have a candy white s with black mirrors and I put rims on it so I wanted to fix the black mirrors. I bought the white viynl one but wouldnt go on smooth thanks for that. 1 more question, how did you remove and put back on your trim pieces

    14. 04-28-2012 10:48 PM #14
I hate the all black alloys, looks like a base Jetta without hubcaps...

    15. 04-28-2012 11:13 PM #15
well check how to remove the trim pieces here..http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...removal-guide:) just try to go slowly and carefully cuz these trim pieces could snap easily.

First few days its a little rough. You get used to it. My mom got in the car with me and shes like "dang this is stiff". She has a stock 2012 jetta SE 2.5, so she knows what stock suspension is like compared to ST coilovers. Its definitely worth it though. Stance of the car looks way better.
