To a few of you: I'm not an idiot. I wasn't comparing the Evo/STi to the Aston. I was just using their 0-60 time as a benchmark for cheap imports. I expect supercars to be well into the 3s now, for some reason.

but this isnt a super car. it's a grand tourer. all because a car is really expensive doesnt make it a supercar you know.
i agree with the others. i just think astons are some of the most beautiful cars in the world.
Doesn't seem that fast. Top speed isn't outrageous, and 0-60 isn't much greater than an Evo/STi. I know that 0-60 isn't everything, but it is something to consider. The pics don't work, but I'm sure it will be a looker, like most Astons. However, for the kind of coin I'm sure it will cost, I'd want more performance.
To worry about the performance of an Aston Martin is to miss the point. Yes they are quick... but i truly don't believe that they need to be the quickest.
Also, I would be willing to bet that under Pro-Drive there will be some firebreathers on the horizon

Those images are entirely cgi for those that like them, fyi. They look nice, but they arent photographs, they're images. Except for maybe the interior shot.
In all fairness, if this was posted in the MKIII/MKIV/MKV Forums, you'd probably get a much better reception. If the cover photo was dripping with HDR, you could probably hear the man-goo smacking their monitors.

Couple of seconds is huge. If you are in a track race, you will have many cars ahead of you.

Anybody think that the "5 o'clock" starting position of the speedo would annoy them? It also looks like the tach needle swings counter-clockwise?
The position of the tach and speedo needles wouldn't annoy me because they won't be there very long or very often with me behind the wheel...assuming I stop fapping off to the interior long enough to even push the start button.
Listen up, buddy, I've had both - I eat plain bagels with cream cheese all the time, and I know people who've brought me onion bagels to try. I've toasted them both. I've even had poppy seed bagels and bagels and lox with capers. I'll pit your onion bagel against my plain bagel with cream cheese any time anywhere, just meet me halfway.
